Bergara cured the carbon barrel problem of inconsistency by getting steel and carbon to perfectly work together by managing heat. CURE Barrels are uniquely optimized both mechanically and thermodynamically via a proprietary patent pending carbon weave with embedded stainless strands that move heat. Every aspect of the design was optimized to yield an ultralight stiff straight rugged barrel shot after shot. Twolug system that features a separate floating bolt head to ensure contact with the lug abutments in the action. Also features a coneshaped bolt nose for smooth feeding of the cartridge and a springloaded sliding plate extractor located in the front of the lower locking lug. The onepiece bolt body is stainless steel with a pad at the rear to accept the threadedin bolt handle. The bolt head the nonrotating gas shield and the bolt shroud are fully Nitrided for extreme durability as well as its selflubricating. The XLR Element 4.0 Magnesium chassis as an ultralightweight modular hunting rifle chassis designed for the backcountry hunter. Configured with a carbon fiber folding buttstock and carbon fiber grip. The MgLite features a builtin bubble level and machined in RRS 1.5 dovetail ArcaSwiss in the forend.
