The Ruger Hawkeye Alaskan features a Hogue OverMolded stock molded from durable synthetic rubber that provides a soft recoilabsorbing feel without affecting accuracy. Its cold hammerforged barrel results in ultraprecise rifling that provides exceptional accuracy and longevity. The barrel also features a the Ruger Muzzle Brake System that includes a removable radialport muzzle brake that significantly reduces felt recoil. The nonrotating Mausertype controlled round feed extractor is among the most positive case extraction systems ever invented and features a fixed bladetype ejector that positively ejects the empty cases as the bolt is moved fully rearward. The Hawkeye Alaskan also utilizes a hinged solidsteel floorplate solidsteel receiver LC6 trigger threeposition safety and a thread protector. Includes barrel band mounted swivel stud optional forend swivel stud.
