The M1A SOCOM 16 takes the M1A platform and shrinks it down to a remarkably compact and portable size. A handy tactical rifle the M1A SOCOM 16 has a speciallyengineered 16.25 barrel thats mated to the gas system with a proprietary muzzle brake to reduce felt recoil in a big way. It also features the Springfield Armory forward scoutstyle picatinny mount an enlarged ghost ring aperture rear sight and XS Sights tritium insert in the front sight to give you lightning fast target acquisition capability. The M1A SOCOM 16 CQB features amazing power in a close quarterssized package. Featuring a short 16.25 barrel and shortened gas system the CQB is equipped with a pistolgripped composite stock with an integrated Archangel collapsible fiveposition buttstock.
