Great crossbow, horrible scope
The crossbow is really good. Doesn't come with limb savers but I knew that when I bought it. Easy fix for $20. The crossbow has more than enough power. The noise level is moderate to low. It is actually quieter than my buddy's $1200 compound bow. But silent it is not. The reason this crossbow didn't get a full 5 stars is the scope. The scope itself is not even 1 star. This thing is an absolute POS. Most all of the reviews stated it came out of the box almost zeroed in at 20 yds. But that's whatever, I figured I wouldn't be that lucky. I was right. First shot at 20 yards I was 7-1/2" low and 2" left. The scope advertised a 1/2 MOA. So, 16 clicks up and 4 clicks right should have put me at center target. Not even close. It didn't move at all right and came up 1 inch. About 80+ clicks up and 25-30 clicks right I was zeroed in. Had to shoot about a dozen bolts to get there. After that it drove nails. I tested at 20 and 30 yards. At 30 yards it was wicked accurate. I didn't test further out because the bow target bag I was shooting into basically ended its life. lol Do yourself a HUGE favor and buy a scope. You can find really good ones for around $200 that have true MOA adjustments. The Accudraw is a great feature. I have shoulder and elbow issues which is why I am shooting a crossbow. However, it takes time to load each shot. Allow a couple minutes. It is not a fast process. But the Accudraw is almost silent. So that is a nice feature. Overall, I really like this crossbow and will like it more when I replace the scope. Webbs is awesome. Shipping was fast. I got an opportunity to speak to the staff when they called me about needing to substitute the extra bolts I ordered due to stocking issues. They upgraded me at no additional charge. They were friendly and professional and basically awesome. I will gladly buy from them again.
